My first dresser-redo

So I found this dresser on the curb. One of the neigbors was throwing it away and I went and snatched it up. It's just perfect because I was needing something else other than an old basket to put blankets in and on one of the walls in my living room. I live in base housing and all the walls are white. I could paint but we will probably be moving in a couple of years so I really don't want to bother with that. I would rather add color with furniture and accents.

She looks pretty rough I know and she's missing a bottom drawer but it actually works perfect because that is where I will be putting the blankets.
Sorry this picture is a little blurry. (I'm still learning to use my fancy camera :) After lots of sanding and wood filling and priming I am proud to show you my new dresser!!

So do you love it??? I do! I have to say I am very proud of myself. I really had no idea what I was doing. I just went with it. I used a Valspar semigloss paint in cream cake. And I bought 4 new knobs. Because I already had the paint on hand I only had to buy the knobs and some sand paper. Total cost was about $15! It works great on this long wall that I have. Now I just need to hang some pictures above it. And probably some new pillows... Hope your inspired :)
